    Price:  RM680.00

Bebe Sachi Twilight Khadi is all about being bold, classy and authentic. It reflects confidence, poise, respect for others and for yourself. Class is how you present and express yourself and this includes being selfless, generous, compassionate and responsible.

Bebe Sachi Khadi is a handwoven baby wrap made from handspun genuine natural cotton. Our weaving process gives our Khadi wrap an extraordinary texture and finishing that is soft for newborns yet supportive for toddlers. An all-weather wrap that adjusts to the climate (hot in winter and cool in summer), Khadi is available in a range of colours and designs. Because of our weaving process, each Khadi wrap is one of a kind and gives you a unique carrying experience, making it a true unicorn wrap! Usually, a wearer’s first reaction to our Khadi wrap is “Wow!” (But we’ll let you be the judge of that!)

This is a wraparound carrier, which has no rings, belts, buckles or buttons -- just a world of carrying possibilities for you and your baby!

    About our Khadi wraps:

Khadi is a traditional weave. The Khadi wrap weaving process itself is very slow because the Khadi yarns have to be handled with care. Even an experienced and good weaver takes about an hour to produce 1 yard (which is less than a metre!). Suffice to say that each Khadi wrap is made with a great deal of love and respect for those who wear it as well as the creative artisans who made it.

'Khadi', also known as 'khaddar', refers to a coarse homespun cotton cloth. Bebe Sachi Khadi is made specifically for babywearing. It is NOT the same as any other Khadi which is meant for clothing. Uneven weaving, mild shade variations, weaver knots, loose threads and slubs are normal characteristics of handwoven fabrics. These are not flaws or defects and do not affect the safety and quality of the wrap. These naturally occuring variations is what makes it special and gives it character. A word of advice: If you are picky about how your woven wrap looks, a handspun and handwoven wrap may not be the best wrap for you.

    Care instructions:

    • Fabric is washable by hand or machine
    • Cold wash separately
    • Place in a mesh bag or pillow case if machine washed. Put on gentle/delicate cycle
    • Line dry
    • Do NOT bleach.

    Tester reviews
Here are some tester reviews of Twilight Khadi (all are very experienced babywearers and a few hardcore ones too!):

“The width is perfect for big kids. It is about 76cm/30 inches. Because it has a denser weave and less stretch than Natty V1, Twilight is must be owned by mamas who carry big/heavy/older children and who are looking for the perfect ruck/shorty wrap. If you like Natty V2’s wrapping qualities but are not a fan of thick, dense wraps, Twilight is the perfect in-between.”

“Cush on the shoulders was great. Feels like wearing a Didy 55 linen without the beastly traits. Width of 30 inches is superb for a toddler!” (carrying a 20kg boy)

“Less give and feels somewhat softer than Natty Khadi v1 possibly due to the finer Khadi yarns used for Twilight, Heavenly cush on the shoulders (as usual!). Love the white rail – it is just so cool!”

“If you have tried any Khadi, you will know about the stretch. Basically, if you are not used to it, you will need to relearn how to wrap and take advantage of that 'ace bandage' quality that comes with any Khadis. The handspun yarns in Twilight are much finer in quality and a bit thinner than Natty V1, thus fewer big nubs and slubs.”

“I think with a couple of warm washes and steam irons, this beast can be tamed into a nice puffy marshmallow. I love how my toddler (~13kg) and preschooler (~15kg) feels in it. The preschooler who is very picky about wraps (she likes smooth thin wraps but mama likes thick ones) actually asked to try Twilight. I tried RTIF as that is the only carry she prefers. She feels weightless.”

“As I live in hot, humid weather, I will use a long Twilight indoors. But for those living in seasonal weather, this is THE fall season wrap.”

Reviews of our previous Khadi releases:

“A fantastic ruck wrap. Cushy, lovely, perfect!”

“Cushy and comfy even with a sloppy wrap job!”

”Khadi is made of thicker, slightly uneven cotton threads in a looser weave compared to a Pamir, more like Uppymama. The difference is that Uppy threads are more uniform.”

“Airier than Pamir. Same stretch, better cush. Nice amount of bounce.”

“I loved the bounce, cushiness, grip, softness and overall feel of it.”

“It is a lot of great things, but not to a noob wrapper. A hardcore one would love it in a heartbeat. A casual one would appreciate it. Although my knowledge of NHIndia is by reading, I can assure you if NHIndia and Pamir were to get married, their offspring would be Khadi. It is very textured, due to the uneven thickness of the cotton threads but it does not feel rough. It feels like the perfect wrap!”

“SSDH with 8.5kg baby. It is the best!!! I like the softness of Khadi.”

“It has the right amount of grip – not so grippy, not so blankety. Just nice... and did I mention supportive?”

“I tried it and my first word was 'WOW'. Awesome ruck wrap. And awesome ruck wraps ain't easy to find.”

“I enjoyed carrying my 15kg DD the most with this Khadi. The longest was nearly 2 hours when we baked 2 cakes and made muffins for my DH’s birthday in early January. Another tie which I love most to carry this girl in is kangaroo hip carry, longest time was nearly one hour. Yes, it is soft. I initially thought it would be stiff but it’s NOT at all! Sturdy? No doubt, but if I used it to carry my small baby (7 months old, 8.5kg), I won’t enjoy Khadi for what it is. Diggy? I didn’t feel diggy at all! All I can say is, Khadi is a perfect toddler wrap!”
