Background History
MLO was founded by Rita Rahayu Omar who is a mother of 3 and a firm believer in the goodness of breastfeeding. Like most new nursing moms, breastfeeding was not exactly a bed of roses in the beginning for her. She has been down in the trenches to know the kind of challenges and niggling problems that many new nursing moms face. It was her passion and belief in the power of breastfeeding that made her dedicate herself to helping other mothers to breastfeed.
Rita is now the CEO of Nurturing Concepts Sdn Bhd which is company focused on Breastfeeding and Natural Parenting. Nurturing Concepts Sdn Bhd operates 2 reputable brands : MLO & Susuibu.com which offers breastfeeding consultancy & support services for families and the health professionals who care for them. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and is currently a member of the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) based in USA, Lactation Advisor and Consultants Association in Malaysia and the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA).
She has been a strong breastfeeding advocate and has vast experience in helping new nursing mothers and also those with nursing difficulties to successfully breastfeed and has been a breastfeeding advocate since 2001. Rita is one of the panel of consultants for the Pa&Ma Magazine (Malaysia's No #1 Parenting Magazine) since 2005 and is responsible for answering all breastfeeding related questions under their 'Ruangan Laktasi' column. She writes and edits articles on Breastfeeding for various magazines and books and has frequently appeared on televsion and radio to talk about breastfeeding (Ladies Day Out - NTV7, Wanita Hari Ini - TV3, BFM 89.9 radio, Menatang Si Manja - TV3, Si Manja Huggies - TV3 & NTV7, Si Kecilku Chakk - TV3.
Rita qualifies as an IBCLC in 2009 and is a Lactation Consultant in Private Practice. She is frequently invited for breastfeeding talks at private and government Hospitals, Companies and Organisations. She also volunteers at various hospitals as a mother-to-mother support group counselor and as part of the Mother-to-Mother support group network she helped to established in 2010 - Malaysian Breastfeeding Peer Counselors Program www.malaysianbfpc.org

Momslittleones.com was born out of my passion for breastfeeding. We are committed to empowering you in your decision to breastfeed by providing you with information about breastfeeding as well as featuring the most trusted and dependable products available in the market today. We feature products that assist you in all stages from Pregnancy right up to early childhood.
Because I have used many of these products myself while breastfeeding my own children or seen them benefit other nursing moms, I have the utmost confidence in them.
